You can have your cake, Just DON'T eat it to.

Ok why I am planning on not doing a steryotypical diet, other than the fact that I have been there done that. The last past couple weeks I was looking up all diets imaginable and it seems like everyone is an expert and I am sure no matter which diet you follow if you did it right you might lose the weight, but if you piled up all the expertice. . . carbs good...carbs bad...protein is the way...absolutly no protein. . I could go on. Where I am getting at is you would be able to eat nothing. Not to mention diets make you give up so much that in your mind you start desireing the food you can't have.

So this time I am going my own way. Eat less, Eat better, Change mindset and Move more. Sounds simple enough for me.

Eat Less:
1. Portion control
2. 5 small meals a day +dessert
3. Smaller plates
4. Use veggies and fruit for fillers

Eat Better:
1. Using healthier baking ingredients (splenda, applesauce, low sodium, ..)
2. Doing away with almost all junk foods
3. Using healthy recipies to cook
4. Try to buy organic when possible
5. Drink more water

Change Mindset:
1. Keep researching everything
2. Learn tricks to make myself feel like I am eating alot
3. Find ways to distract between meals
4. Journaling, blogging, and everything in between

Move More:
1. Excercise
2. Use pedometer to increase steps walked

I already made my menu for the next week and a scedhul to follow. I am planning on exercising 3 days a week in the begining and gradulally increasing. I plan on blogging daily. That is pretty much the plan thus far.

Well more tomorrow.
