Wii need to get fit.

Ok today is my review of the wii fit. I have been playing with it now for about a month. When first starting a profile you input your age and height. It will have you step on the scale and calculate your bmi and weight. I found this to be very consistant with my home scale it will also let you choose if you have heavy or light clothing on.

As seen above you will fall into one of the ranges above. My mii was made fat and made a bum bummmb bum sound. Where as hubby's mii was made skinny and made a ding a ding noise. It will tell you how much you should lose and what a healthy weight would be for me at 23years old and 5'2" I should be 119. It will then let you set a goal and let you chose a time frame to reach this goal.

Next you will be shown your center of balance and it will want you to try to improve on.

You will play some balance games.

Like the one above you will need to lean back and forth keeping the end of the pink in the blue for 3 seconds. It gets harder than that though. After seeing how you do you will be givin you wii age. This I don't find that accurate it changes drastically every day.

You will then stamp your chart. And be taken to the page to see how far you are on the chart. This process will happen every time you take the body test. All thought if you want to you can skip over the balance games.

Now also on the wii fit you will be able to choose from different sections yoga, areobics, strength training, Balance games and favorites. There are many games mostly under balance, aerobics, and favorites. All the games are pretty fun, but you get kind of sad when you see 1 calorie burnt. The yoga and strenght training really give you a workout. The step aroebic paired with the step you can purchase for the wii board really gives a nice 10 min workout. There are different settings for everything and you will get this little clock to tell you total calories burnt for the day. You also get points which you can use towards extras. Overall I wouldn't say this would replace a gym, but is conviently placed in your home and you can exercise with your kids. So overall I give the wii fit a thumbs and a half up. For its convientness, fun, and overall setup. Hope to try some of the other games and hope for them to be a better workout. Let you know when I try.
