From where I am standing you might as well put me in a penny, throw me on the kindersoccer team and put us up against the Brazil team.

Now I want a fair game. Ha. Today I had a couple things I wanted to talk about. The other day I read somewhere to make a collage that I could look upon when feeling like I need motivation during this journey.

So this is what I created last night on my photoshop. I mostly tried to incorporate how I feel about food, especially when dieting on the screens. Then I tried to add a calm motivational aspect too. Mostly why I wanted to show everyone this is, because it goes along with how I named this blog.

I think the hardest thing about weight loss is the temptation. Like I heard on Taboo the other day we are living in obosegenic culture. Where it is only not easy to give in to unhealthy behaviors, it is down right convenient. Here is why I say this.

1. Prepackaged meals. . not only to get the fat from eating them, they are so fast to make you don't even have to burn any calories making them.

2. Transportation. No need to walk. Steps no way. There are elevators and escalators.

3. Losing weight is expensive. Why shell out tons of moneys for equipment and gyms. Healthy food. People say eating healthy is cheaper I disagree. $5 dollars strawberries v.s $3 chips. $10 splenda v.s $3 regular sugar.

4. Taste. All the added harmful things are down right tasty. Replace salad into the seductive chocolate commercials where the woman is swimming in it. Not the same.

5. Healthy fast food is far and in between and besides a select few places isn't really that healthy. So that means on the go to eat healthy once again with the inconvenience.

6.Lastly all though there is ton more. Time consuming, everlasting commitment. So much easier to be committed to being home Monday night to watch House, than to exercise such and such hours, meal planning or logging , giving up huge portions.

Despite this though I must rid myself of the temptations to give in both from the outside surroundings and my internal sabotage mind set. I mean no ones body needs cake or fries to with stand life. It is more a matter of preference. That I will have to try to figure out to get around.

NEWS FLASH

Second thing I wanted to talk about. Fast food places are to start putting calories next to the food items on there menus.

I think this the greatest thing every. It is so much easier to say no when starring your death wish in the face. I mean I think people easily scarf food down unaware of what they think they are eating. For instance I ate 2 waffles yesterday. Eggo brand. I thought wow this is healthy. Well I looked on the box today and yes for an unsatisfying quick breakfast I had eaten 300calories and drum roll 9 grams of fat. That was tricky. Not to mention those salads they show on tv that look healthy, but due to dressing is 900cal and 20grams fat.

Now things that frustrated me is that it seems like the only thing that has calories listed up front and big where you can see is the healthy food. My lettuce the other day had on the front really big 10calories... 0 fat. Wow really. Yet all the fattening food no calories and fat content on the front wonder why. Seems like they would be more concerned about sells. I like it listed on the front, because you don't have to (back to inconvenience) be looking on the back of everything you buy. Pretty sure if nutritional value was on the front of things you would be more careful with what you buy and what people are seeing you buy.

So in other words I give this news flash a big thumbs up.

Till the next post have a great day.
