Impressed, but not amuzed

So today I did my shopping for the starting of my diet and it was a long day. I went to whole foods for the first time today. People were super friendly, but some of the products made me feel super mouthwatering goodness while some others confused me and seemed like I was on another planet. I got some very different things to expand my horizons and some safety food too. So after doing half my shopping there the whole time hubby committing on how silly it all was. I decided to finish up the rest of my shopping at my regular grocery store, but still maintaining my healthy walk through. My thoughts eating healthy is the same price as eating junk food. Shopping with a planned menu is time consuming and harder than the grab and throw method.

Like I said tomorrow I am starting my diet. I will have my starting weigh in and photo journaling my weight and food daily.

FOR A THOUGHT
Upon looking at the back of nutritional facts I scrolled my eyes down to the ingredients list. I started to think when I eat these junk foods they are so yummy, but if I was to dissect the ingredients. . .fat that doesn't look pleasing...oil I would never drink a vat of that. . food color number 30 . . . nope wouldn't sit and drink that. . gum tragacanth. . .yum powder

When you look up the ingredients you find that non of them truly look appetizing on there own. Where as the organic things or healthy food all the ingredients look delicious in or out of there finished form. So next time I reach for junk food I am going to try and break it down in my mind and say do I really want to put this in my body. Heck no.
